The damage to the West Wing of Prior Park College
This picture, by Donald Stride, is now in the Bath Library collection.
Prior Park College was very lucky. Eight bombs fell in the college grounds. One did not explode, and only one landed close enough to the college building to do damage. All the damage was subsequently repaired.
The building and grounds are now owned by the National Trust. The grounds are open to the public, but the building is still leased as a college. So there is no public access to allow me to take a comparable current picture, and I am very grateful to Simon Rose, who e-mailed me the picture below.
