Newark Street

The remains of No. 10 Newark Street, damaged by the blast from a bomb that fell in Southgate Street.

Newark Street ran parallel to and East of Southgate Street. Some buildings in this area were repaired, others left derelict.
But the whole area was demolished in the early 1970s to build the Southgate Shopping Precinct.
