Agnes suffered a heart attack during the bombing, and because of the pressure on local medical facilities, was taken to Savenake Hospital on 1 May 1942, where she died on 10 May 1942.  She was buried at Cadley near Marlborough.
Her obituary said she died as a result of enemy action, so her death is recorded here.
